How Can I Keep Him Interested? What to Do to Make Him Crave You

How can I keep him interested?” That’s a question many women ask me through my newsletter and on my blogs. They have met the man they absolutely adore but they’re concerned that at some point, his interest is going to disappear. It’s a valid concern because it happens sometimes. Some men are very fickle when it comes to matters of the heart and they let a relationship die just because they’ve gotten a bit bored or they don’t feel the same overwhelming spark they once did. You obviously don’t want this to happen between you and your man. You want tangible things you can do that will keep him interested for the long haul, right? I’m here to provide just that to you.

  • Don’t let him know everything about you too soon. I know exactly how it is when you meet a man you think may be the “one” for you. You want to share everything you possibly can with him. You’re more than willing to lay out all your life goals for him to critique and you have no issues with telling him every small detail about what happens in your day-to-day life. He doesn’t want it to be that easy. You should pace yourself always in your relationship. Don’t hand him you on a silver platter. Keep him guessing about who you really are and what your real story is. If you can subtly do that he’s going to stick around forever just to see what the next surprise is.
  • Don’t overlook the power of spontaneity. Men utterly adore women who can change their plans at the last split second. They also adore women who aren’t afraid to jump head first into a new adventure just for the thrill of it. If you’re the type of girl who prefers to sit at home, watching romantic comedies with her guy, you may find yourself single again before you know it. Plan some outings that he’d never expect from you. You’ll hypnotize him if you do. He’ll find you intoxicating because he won’t know what to expect next.
  • Don’t agree with everything he says, just because. Virtually all women have been guilty of this at some point in a relationship. Because you don’t want to “rock the relationship boat” you agree with what your guy says about something, when your own opinion is strongly different. Men want honesty from the women they involve themselves with. He doesn’t want a mindless arm trophy who agrees with him just because she wants him to love her. He’s not going to love you if you aren’t yourself. Speak up, debate your position and argue your point. The fact that you stay true to what you believe in is the one thing that he’s going to find irresistible in you.
  • Don’t be dramatic, at all, ever. Women are naturally dramatic. I know I am. It’s easy to get caught up in the drama of virtually any situation. When you get a group of women together, you’re going to witness drama at its ultimate. The problem is that men have no purpose for this. They don’t have the time or the patience to deal with drama. In fact, some men will actually end a relationship if they feel there is indeed too much drama. That’s why it’s crucial that you calm down and take things easy. Don’t let the small things get to you. He’ll find it refreshing and unusual and that’s a very good thing.
  • Don’t chase commitment too soon. Most women want to seal the deal when they meet a man they are crazy about. We want to move from casual dating, to dating exclusively, to moving in together, an engagement and then a wedding all within a year or two. There’s absolutely no reason to rush anything if you’ve found a man you really enjoy spending time with. Chances are good that he feels a strong connection with you as well. Take things at their own pace and don’t launch into any discussions about commitment in any form until he does first.

By following these simple, straightforward rules you’ll be able to keep him that much more interested in you. Just be positive, honest and always your genuine self. That’s what he wants most of all.
